Kids’ Vid is a website for teachers and students to create the best video possible.  From scripting to editing, it provides guidelines for teachers and tools and tips for students.

  1. A simpler place to start might be documentary films for students. I recently helped 4th graders make short documentaries about their lives incorporating interviews, photographs, drawings, captions, sound effects, titles and music using iMovie. A narrative film has greater challenges I think and maybe not as many applications for later grades.
