Tool #22: Hieroglyphics

Type:  Hieroglyhpic alphabet translator

Teacher:  Elementary/Middle Level (Social Studies)

Student Use:  Fun addition to an Egypt unit

This Hieroglyphic Translator (according to the site) is just for fun.  But I thought it would be a great way to engage young students with an Egypt unit.  You type in the words, it translates.

egypt

The site also has a lot of information on kings, queens, pyramids and temples (including videos and games).  An overall great resource.
